The variegated leaves have this soft cream edge that makes them look way less plastic than other faux stems I've tried. I tucked a few into a clear glass vase on my bookshelf and they fill the space nicely without looking fussy.
I stuck three of these in a plain ceramic jug on my dining table and the tapered leaves fan out just enough to fill the space without looking cramped. The variegation is subtle, more cream than white, so they read as real from across the room.
