The water-based acrylic formula went on smooth and leveled out nicely, and it was basically dry to the touch by evening. Two coats and no roller marks at all.
I was worried a red this bright would look garish, but the pomegranate shade is actually warm and rich on my dining room walls. The acrylic formula went on smooth with a brush and didn't smell half as bad as the oil-based stuff I've used before. Dried to a really solid, wipeable finish.
Two coats covered the old beige in my dining room without any primer, and the acrylic finish wiped clean when my kid smeared jam on it. Only gripe is the dry time felt closer to two hours than the label suggested.
