Dried to a smooth matte that feels almost velvety, and it's held up well against my clumsy furniture moving.
The chalky finish dried to a soft, velvety matte that completely hid the old varnish underneath. I've used a few different paints for furniture flips, and this one leveled out smoother than any of them.
I was a little nervous about the color matching the photos, but the pigment is so rich and true to the description that it instantly gave my old dresser that grand, castle-like character I was after. It covers beautifully with just two coats and dries to a smooth, chalky finish that feels surprising
