The iron is surprisingly heavy, which makes me trust it'll hold up season after season. It keeps the logs stacked neatly without taking up too much floor space, and the matte black finish hides the ash and dust pretty well.

The bold black finish looks sharp against my brick hearth, and the 100% iron construction gives it a hefty, stable presence that doesn't wobble when I stack logs. It's held up beautifully through the whole season with zero rust or chipping.

This thing is solid iron, not some flimsy stamped metal, so it actually feels like it belongs next to a real fireplace. The bold black color holds up well against the heat and looks sharp even after a few weeks of use. Keeps logs stacked neatly without taking up half the hearth.
