The solid marble base gives it real heft, so it feels far more expensive than the price tag suggests, and the wide mouth is perfect for holding keys by the door. I keep catching myself running a finger along those scalloped edges just for the smoothness.
The scalloped edges are beautifully carved and look much more elegant in person than I expected. It’s surprisingly heavy for its size, which gives it a nice, solid feel on my console table.
