The red oak has a nice weight to it, and the ball rolls smoothly through every turn of the maze. I've been keeping it on my desk and picking it up whenever I need a five-minute brain break.

The red oak grain on this thing is gorgeous enough that I almost feel bad keeping it tucked away in a drawer. The ball rolls smooth and the maze has just enough resistance to keep me retrying one more time before bed.

I keep this on my desk and end up playing it during every phone call, the little steel ball rolling through the oak grooves is weirdly soothing. Sanded edges feel smooth, no snags, and it's sturdy enough that my kid hasn't dented it yet.
