Inspired by a candle snuffer found at an antique store, this version is forged from etched brass with a twisted handle for dainty detail. It extinguishes a flickering flame with minimal smoke output and pairs well with the Vintage Inspired Wick Trimmer.

The twisted handle feels way more substantial in hand than the photos suggest, and I love how it looks resting on my shelf between uses. It snuffs my wick in one quick motion, and the etched brass catches the light beautifully.

I was bracing for a wisp of smoke when I first used it, but the flame just vanished cleanly. The etched brass has a lovely weight to it, and the twisted handle looks far more expensive than it has any right to.

The twisted handle feels surprisingly balanced in my hand, and it puts out the flame in one clean motion without that smoky aftermath. I catch myself using it even for the tea lights just because it's so pleasant to hold.
