The tulip petal shape is even more striking in person, and the two heights make a lovely staggered display on my mantel. It holds the taper candle steady with that sturdy forged iron feel.
The forged iron construction gives it a nice weight on the table, and I love how the tulip-shaped openings hold the taper candles at just the right angle.
The forged iron has a nice weight to it, but the petals don't quite cup a standard taper the way I hoped—they lean a bit forward. Still, it looks decent on the mantel at the smaller height, just not a perfect fit.
