I was expecting something dainty but this has real heft to it, and the adjustable ring actually grips different taper sizes without wobbling. Set it on my mantel and it’s already become a nightly ritual.
The taper holder is sturdier than it looks, which surprised me when I first picked it up. I've been using it every week for dinner parties and it holds the candles perfectly straight, no wobble at all.
I was skeptical a vintage-style piece would fit my modern shelf, but the adjustable slide mechanism is so smooth and the aged brass finish adds just the right warmth. Even better, it grips my tapered candles firmly without any wobble when I light them.
