The arched top and clean black finish give it that classic, stately look I was hoping for. It’s solid and sits perfectly against the hearth, making the whole room feel warmer even before the fire’s lit.

The way it frames the fireplace changes the whole room—it looks stately without trying too hard, and the simple design lets the fire itself stay the star. I catch myself staring at the flames more now, honestly.

The black finish feels almost velvety against the brick, and it’s tall enough that I don’t worry about sparks sneaking out. We’ve had it up for a week and the whole room just looks more pulled-together, even when the fire’s out.
