Cancello Nero Gatecrest

The matte black finish catches the light just right, and the hand-forged texture makes it look like it came from an old estate sale. I got the middle size and it holds my tallest tapers steady without any wobble. Exactly the moody, understated look I wanted for the dining table.

For a piece this small, the weight is surprisingly substantial—makes it feel like it’ll last decades. I set the medium size on my mantel with a plain ivory taper and the inky black finish catches the light beautifully. Ordered the largest one for the dining room after seeing it in person.

The hand-forged look is spot on—it's got that rough, textured surface you'd expect from an old workshop piece. I grabbed the middle size and the taper fits snug, no wobble, and the black finish picks up light nicely on the mantle.
