Garden Essential - Vernice Effetto Gesso

I’ve stripped and repainted a thrifted dresser with this and the coverage is so thick one coat did most of the work, plus that soft matte look really sells the vintage vibe. Dried to the touch in under an hour which meant I could finish the whole project in one afternoon.

That chalky matte finish dried exactly like the vintage piece I was picturing, and one coat covered the scuffs on my dresser better than I expected. The paint also leveled out nicely without brush marks, which is rare for a chalk paint.

I’ve repainted an old thrifted side table and the matte, chalky finish dried to that perfect lived-in softness I was chasing. Even with just one coat, the color coverage was surprisingly solid, and the aged look came out exactly like the vintage pieces I admire.
