I was a little worried the polished finish would show every fingerprint, but it wipes clean in seconds and still looks sharp on the mantel. The taper fits snugly without wobbling, which is more than I can say for my last holder.

The brass has just the right weight—not flimsy, but not so heavy it's awkward. I've been using it for a week and the simple form really lets the candle be the star.

The finish is flawless—no scratches or tarnishing after a month of use, and the simple form looks even better in person than in the photos. It holds a taper snugly without wobbling, and the brass catches the candlelight beautifully.
